When a system starts short-cycling, blowing warm air, or throwing an error code you can't decode, guessing at parts is how homeowners end up paying twice. Our Leonardo-based techs carry meters, gauges, and combustion analyzers to find the actual fault the first visit, not the third.
Most Hvac Repair calls in Leonardo, NJ start the same way — a system that used to work fine suddenly doesn't. Before any quote gets written, our tech checks capacitor readings, measures line voltage, and traces the condensate path for clogs — because a $40 capacitor and a $1,200 blower motor can look identical from the thermostat.
Four things we won't cut corners on, ever.
Our field techs carry EPA 608 certification, undergo background screening, and work under full liability coverage — no subcontractors, no exceptions.
Because our fleet stages within Leonardo, NJ, most Leonardo service requests land a same-day or first-thing-tomorrow slot instead of a multi-day wait.
The price we quote is the price on the invoice, agreed before a single part gets replaced.
Our trucks carry digital manifold gauges, clamp meters, and combustion analyzers so the diagnosis is measured, not eyeballed.
The repairs that make up most of our service calls.
We check capacitor health, contactor pitting, thermostat calls, and refrigerant pressure to isolate why the system stopped responding before any part gets replaced.
A large share of "the unit won't turn on" calls trace back to a failed capacitor or a burned contactor — we test with a microfarad meter and swap only what's out of spec.
Weak airflow or a burning odor at the vents often means the blower motor is drawing high amps or the bearing is failing. We test motor windings before recommending replacement.
Miscalibrated thermostats and control board faults can mimic a much bigger failure — we rule these out early to avoid overselling repairs.
Using electronic leak detectors and dye tracing, we find the actual leak point rather than just topping off refrigerant, which only buys a few weeks anyway.
For heating-side calls, ignitor resistance, flame sensor signal, and gas valve response all get tested — a dirty flame sensor is a five-minute fix, not a new furnace.
What happens from your call to a working system again.
Describe what the system is doing and we'll get the closest available technician on the schedule.
Our tech arrives in a stocked truck within your scheduled window — not a vague all-day arrival estimate.
We run the diagnostic, explain what failed, and hand you a flat-rate number before any repair begins.
Repair completed same visit in most cases, backed by our workmanship warranty on parts and labor.
Unedited feedback from completed service calls.
